GoodBoy Group Lessons

GoodBoy group lessons are designed to prepare dogs and handlers for assessment within the Australian Companion Dog Skills (ACDS) framework.

These structured group sessions focus on the real-world skills evaluated during assessment, including:

  • calm behaviour around other dogs and people

  • practical lead handling

  • emotional regulation and recovery

  • reliable responses in shared environments

Group training provides the controlled exposure and neutrality required for successful participation in formal assessment.

Important:
Participation in group lessons supports preparation for assessment but does not guarantee a passing outcome.
Dogs must meet assessment criteria on the day of testing.
